Which issue of Reader's Digest was his story in (about his ordeal in Jacob's Well)? I'd like to go to the library and make a copy of it. I had the original issue but guess it got lost in the moves I've made in the past 10-12 years. Thanks. Loy *** OLX 2.1 TD Time Stands Still! It is similar to getting drunk MB>every night. Over a period of time you can take more and more MB>alcohol having the same effect on you. Nitrogen narcosis is the MB>same as this, you build up a tolerance and the frequency depends MB>upon your tolerance. Sorry to disagree Mark, but this claim is simply false. I contacted D.A.N. and asked them to verify my opinion, and they confirm the fact that a diver can not build up a tolerance to narcosis by continually diving deep. That's been a common thread both here and on the Internet conferences. About the only things I pay attention to are depth limitations and the proliferation of specialties. My wife won a PADI deep diving course video which considers everything over 60 feet as deep. There's some merit to their position, but do we really need a new specialty. I got sensitive to this type of issue when one of my favorite dive sites, Blue Springs, started prohibiting entry to any diver without cave/cavern certification. I dove the springs for years before it became a park. While I'm very experienced, know my limits and preferences and never took a novice to the springs, I still resent being told I have to spend money to become certified to do what I've been doing for years anyway. Bimini has two main roads. Kings highway is the one you see from the docs. Queens highway is on the other side of the hill. Lee --- PCBoard (R) v15.21/M 2 * Origin: The Cross Roads BBS Ft. Many shops seem to think they're doing me a favor by overfilling my wife's standard 80's (rated for 3000 PSI) or my compacts (rated at 3300). I don't need extra air, I seldom use all I have. I do need to know my tanks haven't been pushed past what was intended. Lee --- PCBoard (R) v15.21/M 2 * Origin: The Cross Roads BBS Ft. Lauderdale, Fla 305-791-9325 (1:369/97)
