With all those cars down there there wouldn't have been enough draft. The ones that drifted down away from the dock are still there. What he said that made sense to me is this: Suppose the water was gradually getting hotter and hotter, your body would adjust to the temp, (what you might call a tolerance) but the damage the hot water is doing remains the same. STAY AWAY FROM PERFORMANCE DIVERS! In a recent report published by UNDER CURRENT, performance divers regulators did so poorly, the testing was discontinued ALL models of Performance divers regulators (All failed). While they fell short of calling the PERFORMANCE DIVERS equipment an outright death trap. The article definitely gave you motivation to turn your PD equipment into an instant paper weight. (BTW- Scuba pro ranked #1) Testing was by demand test under stress and conducted by both man and machine to help eliminate the prejudice and human factors. In one paragraph, PD regs were described as "not able to deliver enough volume under stress conditions" (not an exact quote since it's not in front of me but very similar). For those of you who have been diving for eons, this is probably no surprise to you. For you PD sales people out there, sorry to rock your boat but take up your complaints with UNDER CURRENT.
