It seems to be one of the less expensive computers on the market. Exterior construction is the same as the similar Oceanic model, but the display seems somewhat better. *** * CMPQwk #1.4 * UNREGISTERED EVALUATION COPY --- TriToss (tm) Professional 1.0 - (Unregistered) * Origin: Trasher's Realm Guam,USA 6:670/0 (6:670/0.0) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 186 SCUBA Ref: CAW00009 Date: 06/26/95 From: LARRY KUIVILA Time: 06:57pm \/To: BRYAN LUMPKIN (Read 3 times) Subj: NASE BL> Can Anybody please help me? A steel tank that fills to 800 GS> psi? Man, I'd be nervous about carrying that on my back. But then again, I GS> would guess that catastrophic failure of any air tank would be pretty GS> messy. Remember the last scenes of Jaws? GS> Has there been some major improvement in steel technology over the GS> last ten years or so? Steel tanks are better at carrying high pressures and coping with the expansion stresses when filling, the problem with steel tanks is corrosion. Sea water and ferrous metals don't go together too well, it's the new level of corrosion resistant coatings that makes all the difference. Two pack epoxy and urethane paints etc, If you by a steel tank it takes a lot more looking after, being careful not to make the protective coating.
