Can anyone recommend any software, shareware or commercial, to do the calculations? Here is what happens: Smith account, last billed ($500) 12/25/96. Smith paid $100 on 1/10/97, $25 on 1/23/97, and $40 on 2/12/97. Obviously, interest accrues from 12/25 to 1/10 on the full $500. From 1/10 (or 1/11) to 1/23 interest accrues on $400. From 1/23 (1/24) to 2/12 interest accrues on $375, etc., etc. Thanks for the help! P.S. Since I am not a regular reader of this echo, please email or netmail me, or contact me otherwise. Thanks! But you have to restrain yourself from wanting to doodle on it. Each month I take it and file it in a file folder for a reference and surprisingly I find I can find data this way a whole lot quicker. For travel and taking with me I just use a simplistic DAYRUNNER planner that you can get at OFFICE DEPOT or any of the discount office suppliers. ___ Blue Wave/QWK v2.20 --- Maximus 2.02 * Origin: Blue Knight's LockUp (1:3620/14) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 184 HOME OFFICE Ref: E2U00002 Date: 02/24/97 From: DAVID HALLUM Time: 11:24pm \/To: ALL (Read 3 times) Subj: Help Needed!!! I know this reply is a little off topic but what are you currently using on port 2? I'm hoping it's not your mouse because normally it's port1 and it shouldn't be a sound card that's usually irq 5 or 7.. just curious. I'm a bit of a tech but I've honestly never fully explored os2.. Have you check out the Timeslips Products. I own Timeslips Deluxe (version 6) for Windows.... It cost an arm and leg, but the regular Timeslips packages can be had for less than 100 bucks. It's an excellent package for Service Professionals, Lawyers, Accountants, Consultants and Architects.... Even lets you put your client on the clock, when talking to them on the telephone. Another excellent package is "MYOB" (Mind your own business). That once is good if you have a lot of inventory, that moves. Hope these suggestion help. Regards, W.
