The Zone 1 Backbone only carries echoes listed in the Zone 1/2 EchoList. It seems that the listing for this echo has expired. Thus, it will be necessary for someone to assume the moderatorship and list it if it is to remain on the Zone 1 Backbone. There is a three month grace period to accomplish this. For more information please consult these files: BOFAQxxx.TXT and ELISTxxx.ZIP, where "xxx" is the version number. They are available from most hubs or can be requested from 1:1/201 or 1:396/1. That is exactly what I was trying to do. Anyway, after taking the time to eat, and pee, and bask in the sunshine a bit while reflecting on the problem, I figured it out for myself before the weekend was over. Thanks for your reply. LT>This is not very smart, but I think it works. :)) Actually, it works out quite elegantly, if you ask me. It saves the bitmap, icon, metafile, or "whathaveyou" to the structure in its original format, as well as keeping track of all the locations, sizes, and other properties of said imagery (per image or picture control). And seeing that I'm working with multiple image types and multiple images, everything is right there in the structure, so if the original import gets deleted or corrupted there is no need to worry..... and it also makes for the ability to export the stuff in the event that the original image does get lost, deleted, or corrupted. Thanks again for your reply. kt * SLMR 2.1a * Can't we find the minds to lead us closer to the Heart... --- ViaMAIL!/SL v1.30 * Origin: ViaMAIL! - If you run Searchlight, you gotta have it! I was wondering about the TextOut API function. What it does exactly because there's a good bet that I need it for a project I'm working on right now. Also, a good book on Windows API would really benefit me at this time, so if anyone knows of a good title and where to get it, please let me know. Thanks. kt * SLMR 2.1a * Battered Women? Why ? I've timeseries like : date data 1996JAN 123 1996FEB 456 1996MAR 789 1996APR 123 1996JUN 456 1996JUL 789 .../... .../... But sometimes, there's no data for a date (eg: 1996AUG NA (not available)), in this case I would have a gap in my graph. I can't do that with Graph32.ocx. Does someone know an OCX which can made it ? I know that this is not a real solution (and I wait for it), but you can try the following: winprog launch the dos app and wait to continue looking for file "flag." (for eg). When dos app finish, it create the file "flag.". Simple and prehistoric. I'm sorry for the cross posting but I didn't know where to put this call for help. Can anyone out there help me I need to find out what signals are present on the various lines between a serial mouse and the computer (port) when: 1. The left hand button is pressed. 2. the right hand button is pressed. The reason for the need for this information is because I'm building an interface which will need to behave as if either of the mouse buttons have been pressed. Much obliged for any help Steve. ...
