Any idea if this person JC>is still around? Netmail or e-mail address for this person? The last info I have is: TELEMATE 04 Sep 97 by russwalker@osb.net Obviously, though, he's no longer around here or he would have seen the warning. Also, I think warnings are also sent directly to the moderator (in addition to the echo), and since he didn't renew it, he's probably not at that e-mail address anymore. And therefore, the listing has expired and will very shortly be removed entirely. Since they can't contact the previous moderator, the job is up for grabs by anyone who wants it. --- QScan/PCB v1.19b / 01-0162 * Origin: Jackalope Junction 501-785-5381 Ft Smith AR (1:3822/1) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 177 TELEMATE Ref: FA100002 Date: 05/15/98 From: BOBBY QUEEN Time: 02:41pm \/To: CAREY BLOODWORTH (Read 1 times) Subj: B Howdy Carey! First the echo won't drop for 3 months and I plan on re-listing it tonight after the echolist keeper gets back from vacation. That way the echo will stay backboned. And someone else mentioned you have to update it yearly, nope it has to be updated every 6 months. Every 5 if you don't want to see warnings all month for that 6th month. :) Bobby Queen ... The Zone 1 Backbone only carries echoes listed in the Zone 1/2 EchoList. It seems that the listing for this echo has expired. Thus, it will be necessary for someone to assume the moderatorship and list it if it is to remain on the Zone 1 Backbone. There is a three month grace period to accomplish this. They are now starting to be posted every week, which sort of suggests a bit of urgency. The date/email address I posted before was Sept 4. That means the 6 month period was up on March 4th. Meaning it has currently been 2 months and 12 days beyond its 6 month renewal time. Of course, since you've already renewed it by now, it's all become moot BQ>after the echolist keeper gets back from vacation. That way the echo will BQ>stay backboned.
