Now boats are made of recycled Ovations. :) I shouldn't talk, I have owned two of those things..Ovations (and boats!). Open an Ovation case and it smells just like the boats. :) I have a righty Martin D-35 (1988) I'm looking to sell..absolutely mint. -John- * www.ggw.org/net2613 * --- * Origin: The Door Into Summer, Rochester, NY (1:2613/229) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 175 GUITAR Ref: F4E00001 Date: 04/08/98 From: CASEY TOMPKINS Time: 01:22am \/To: JOHN HENTSCH (Read 0 times) Subj: Ovation lefty John Hentsch wrote in a message to Doug Mcharg: JH> I was reading about the Ovations at the Kamen WEB site. I doubt it; my 12-string has the "classic" salad bowl shape & size, and I will admit that it doesn't provide the bass a normal 12-string can. On the other hand, the projection & direction of the sound is focused out very well, which is the whole point of the round back anyway. ;) --- timEd-B9 * Origin: Ovation owner, and proud of it. There is a list of suggested uses for Ovations that has been posted and added to from time to time. Most agree that they do make pretty fair emergency backup power for boats. Have you considered maybe a different brand of guitar, perhaps one with a little more wood in it? -John- * www.ggw.org/net2613 * --- * Origin: The Door Into Summer, Rochester, NY (1:2613/229) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 175 GUITAR Ref: F4E00004 Date: 04/08/98 From: JOHN HENTSCH Time: 03:18pm \/To: JOHN ROOKER (Read 0 times) Subj: Ovation lefty In a message to John Hentsch <04/04/19> John Rooker wrote: JR> Have you considered maybe a different brand of guitar, perhaps one with a JR> little more wood in it? :) Wood?
