MV>LM>Who would've guessed. I'm seeing lots of Silvertone stuff on Ebay so MV>LM>guess it's hot right now. MV>Excellent! What is this Ebay thing? It's an auction service on the web. You list an item by describing it and linking to pictures if you have a website or webspace storage. You can set a minimum bid at what you are willing to sell it for or you can set a very low min bid and a "reserve" that is your actual min selling price. Bidders don't know the reserve price until it's been met. At the end of the auction (3, 5 or 7 days) you contact the seller and arrange the payment and shipping method (usually specified in your listing). Ebay gets a small listing fee (.50-1.00) and a percent of the selling price if your reserve bid is met. It's something like 2.5% of the first $25 and 1.5% over $25 up to $500 or something. It's all out there at cayman.ebay2.com. I just sold my 1964 Gibson LG1 for $333. I probably could have gotten $350 but I set the reserve at $333 and you are obligated to sell if your reserve price is met. There probably aren't too many real bargains out there but you might find something you like at the going market price. * SLMR 2.1a * --- Michiana Mail Center * Origin: CW Technical Support - South Bend, IN - (219) 272-8129 (1:227/129) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 175 GUITAR Ref: F3M00012 Date: 03/17/98 From: MACIEK BUKCZYNSKI Time: 05:34pm \/To: LEE MACMILLAN (Read 0 times) Subj: Re: DPDT footswitch MB> LM> I was browsing thru the MCM Electronics catalog and saw a stompbox MB> LM> type footswitch for $2.40. It's got schematics of the Marshall, Fender, and AC30 tone stacks, and plots the frequency response. You can set the bass, treble, and middle tone sliders where you like, do a plot, change them, and overlay the new plot on the old one. You can ALSO modify the values of the resistors and caps in the stack and plot that too. C-ya!
