PB>>> Do you have any plans to make Max/NT able to run Dos doors ? SD>> No. PB> Time for me to look for a new NT based BBS then ... thanks for your PB> in-depth answer. Okay; let me expand on that: "No. Not ever." The ability to run DOS doors is a limitation of the operating system. It is very difficult to properly overcome this problem without rewriting the standard NT communications drivers. Your sarcasm will not make the technical issues go away. Consider: An NT device driver is a hornet's nest. We do not write NT device drivers. Therefore, we do not have any plans to support DOS doors in Maximus/NT. Of course, this does not mean that nobody else will do this (such as the popular SIO.SYS for OS/2 which does exactly what you describe). --- * Origin: postscript love {honk} if (1:249/106.1) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 174 MUFFIN (MAXIMUS) Ref: F3P00008Date: 03/20/98 From: JACK SMITH Time: 09:38am \/To: MIKE NUKE (Read 0 times) Subj: Byte Ratio Hi Mike, On Mar 16, 1998 @17:44, Mike Nuke wrote to All: MN> I was wondering if someone could tell me how to disable the MN> byte ratio in Maximus 3.0?
