I am running NT server v4.0 here with two nodes on there own PCs (Dos Client) and multi-line chat works just fine here. I have no idea what may be causing Jim's problem as I have never seen this happen. I have the IPC directory on a partition on the NT server in the Max directory (note all the nodes load Max from this drive). I may be a Windows NT WorkStation problem.... There's two solutions, one easy, and one that requires a D/L :> First, you could put a line into the top of your NEWUSER1.MEC that says; [mex]M\Chgdob which will simply ask for their DOB. Or, you could download a program called Datafix, which will ask for their DOB, as well as format their phone number to however you want it. Just for the fun of it, check your MENU PATH statement in your MAX.CTL file. Even if it's messed up, I would think that SILT would have created a new one, but.... It's just an idea. 8-) I know I was having a problem related to this statement. I'm running Maximus/2 60% of the time and Maximus for DOS under NT the other 40%. Certain games run only under OS/2 and others only under DOS/NT. I created different menus for the two systems. I couldn't understand why the right menus weren't coming up. It finally dawned on me that I had the MENU PATH pointed to the same directory so the last SILT produced the menus. I finally changed MENU PATH to MENUS in the OS/2 CTL file and MENUS95 in the DOS/NT CTL file. It still doesn't really explain your problem, but it sure sounds like it could be with that statement.
