The 2nd part is a bunch of Yes/No questions [Menu] with [Store]. It just writes it to a file, but there are programs available that will take a file and make a message in any area you choose. Note that each new user appends to the existing file, so if you don't want repetitious messages, you would have to erase the answers file after you have posted it into a message. --- Msged 4.00 * Origin: Ready & Determined (819)772-9277 (1:163/506) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 174 MUFFIN (MAXIMUS) Ref: E5Y00005Date: 05/27/97 From: FRANCOIS ROY Time: 07:43pm \/To: MARK GOLDFINCH (Read 1 times) Subj: Ascii Protocal MG> I'm looking for a way of setting up ASCII File Transfer protocal within MG> Maximus, any programs or other way of setting that up?? ALF has an "Edit files.bbs" command which runs your text editor and loads the file list from the current file area. From remote it does the same, but also runs doorway.exe so you can edit remotely. Your terminal software must have `Doorway Mode' as well. Note that the doorway.exe command line in ALFDORED.MEC is missing the `F' for fossil driver, as in `SYSF' - works much better if you add it ;-) Freqable here as ALF30WB.ZIP. --- Maximus 3.01 * Origin: PHOTO 334 BBS!
