I do have a couple of bbs's that I use for games and POSSIBLY one for messages but nothing definite yet. I'm a fighter and will NOT stop looking until I find what I like on a bbs so I'm not living my life on the internet. I'm not a sit down and do nothing type person. Thanks for the info and will look forward to making my basket. I will let you know as soon as it gets here. I call myself a word smith. In the SCA there is a guild for story tellers, but since i am only within reach of it half the year, and they have had some administrative problems, i have only reached novice level. I have another copy run off of the PNB instructions. As tomorrow is Christmas, it will be a couple of days before i get it in the mail, but i will send it out. I have taught PNB and done many, one taking a local and national prize. YOu can start now, listening for chain saws to get your needles. They need to be 8- 15 inches long, and take several weeks to dry. I have not often taught using these instructions, as i find it much easier to show what to do, but so many long distance friends have asked how, that i wrote them up. No postage needed. The cat quilt went over very well as did the quillow and the tapestry throw. The on-in-law that I gave the quillow to seldom let it out of his sight today, used it as pillow several times. He loved the fact that I found fly fishermen to use or the panels of his quillow. Looks like the next thing on my sewing list for the kids will be tree skirts. They both have just the batting type skirt under their tree. I'll have to go through the books and come up with one for them. One will need to be done by January 10 - a birthday - the other can wait until August for the other birthday. Before that, even with a new machine, the only way You were lucky to find a good one at a garage sale. The one machine that my DH bought me at a garage sale worked for about a year (he gave $5.00), and then the tension started messing up. It seemed after that that I constantly put it in the shop for tension problems. Might have been because I had a little boy that probably helped out with the tension problems. There was no marking to indicate the correct tension, and it was very hard to keep it in tension correctly. Since I have gone to the Bernina line (EXPENSIVE), I have never again had any problems with tension. I love my machine and use it nearly nightly. I wish you luck. Each year I have added something to it either just before, or just after using it. This year will be some small ceramic figures of dancing people I bought when my ship was in Sint Maartins (I'm Navy and my ship was there a month ago). I love telling stories I mostly tell Native American legends and Lore. I love the look on the children's faces when I catch them off guard with a loud roar. I speak soft and gradually get louder. especially the day care groups I do. I did the national convention for Autistic Children last summer and it was a little scarey. not because of the children but they told me it was going to be about tweenty-five and it was around three hundred and fifty. They really enjoy the question and answer period after the story telling or I do a story the questions and go back to the story. sometimes I only have half and hour then others I have two to three hours with the entire school as was this last time. But I do love it and only do it for the kids!!!!!;) I have gathered about four bags of pine needles from the church property behind us. they said take all you want . so I took as much as I could at the time. Thank you very much for sending the information maybe I could do the same for you sometime. BTW, Deborah (our other daughter) gave me a gift certificate to Michaels & Rachel gave me a silk ribbon project.
