Hi Tami
>TC> I will take em! If no one else gets to you first!!!
>SE> They are yours, Tami. I will need an address for you and will
>SE> get them off ASAP.
I haven't forgotten and will get them off to you as soon as I find a box
they will fit into. I thought I had a big box but ..... :-) they are
coming, I promise!
TC> Of course, I will send you a check to cover postage, just let me know
TC> where!
If you want. They will come, hopefully, via post-office so should not
cost more than $3 or $6 depending on the size and weight. However,
postage in not necessary - I will not use them and really would like to
have them used. :-)

Subj: Blocks came
The 2 blocks you sent me for last month came yesterday and they are
beautiful.
My kids especially like the Santa mini block (of course).
I haven't yet decided on how I am going to do the quilt(s). I am toying
with
the idea of doing 1 quilt using both mini blocks and the larger blocks. I
have too many ideas sometimes and cannot settle on just 1 to implement for a
while.
Thanks so much for the blocks. It is so exciting when the squishes come!!

This makes a beautiful afghan. I have tried make sure the directions are
correct. Any questions I will be glad to check and see if I made an error.
I have made 3 from this pattern. One 3 x 4 circle like the pattern, one 2 x
3 circle in baby yarn, and one 5 x 6 circle that I use on our bed as a quilt
in winter.
For colors I prefer to add one color. I use:
MC for diamond, center of oval and border (I prefer white or a cream)
Color A variegated for side of oval
Color B square (for 32)
Color C square (for 30)

I'm so excited about winning the QBE that it's taken me forever to decide
what I want. :-) Sorry for the delay.
How about a 12.5 inch (you know, finishes to 12 inches square that way) block
in blue and white? Your choice of pattern, whatever suits you. And have
fun! :-)
Address is
11367 Bootes St
San Diego CA 92126-1407
Be sure to write QBE on the corner of the envelope so I know to open those
first! (grin)
(and please, anyone I owe blocks to for previous months, email me with your
address and pattern choice! I think there's a couple I'm missing but I can't
remember who it was or which exchange.)

At a meeting last night, one of the female priests (Episcopal) told me she
does
picture painting on cloth including T-Shirts. A picture of the subject will
still be greatly appreciated. As well, I can get more information on VW
products for gifts etc. I did love my old 1955 VW bug. It didn't have a fuel
gauge.
San Deigo: I was at the naval base there many years ago when our ship tied up
for minor repairs. It was 1963 and the cold war was on. Our task group was
sweeping with a US group for Soviet Subs off the Western Coasts of NA. We
never
did find a sub but lots of fishing trawlers up near Alaska. No fishing
equipment on board and I could never figure out how they could catch fish
without nets.(VVBG).

I'm doing a capture/save routine here as my wife requested that I do so. I
don't understand a single word of the message but she appearantly does. She
knits too and as we have a cold winter climate (Canada) the heavy sweaters
come
in handy. I'm wanting to say that the miracle of computers lets you and I
converse over the miles and international borders. I'm really amazed at being
able to converse with someone in the Deep South. Of course we loose the
flavour
of each others accents. Bad joke huh?
