I'm still going to be here, it's just with this new job, I don't have as much time, and my heart's not in it anymore. I'm still going to keep up with the exchanges (as soon as I get caught up again!), and will enjoy being "just a user". Thanks, Nancy p.s. Hope this was legible - my whole family has been sick for 1 1/2 weeks (daughter has some nasty virus which gives the person 102+ fever, son has ear infection, I have flu which went into chronic bronchitis, and hubby had virus which went into tooth infection). Anyway, I don't feel "all here" if you know what I mean. * TagGen: Stress Relief Tip # 17: Drive to work in reverse. nab01@gnofn.org nancy.bird@internetMCI.com http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/3720/nancy.html --- DLG Pro v1.16g1/PDQMail v2.60 * Origin: Bayou Self BBS, Chalmette, LA Team Amiga! Here are the instructions that I thought I had on my hard drive. >Does anyone have instructions for making fabric covered hangers? The instructions I have are more than simple, and may or may not be what you wish to use. I used quilted, double sided fabric. Trace around the hanger on your pattern paper. Add a seam allowance all around, with a stovepipe shape at the top where the hook will be; and if your hanger is thick, add a little more for that, all around. Cut out your fashion fabric and insert a zipper in what will be the bottom. Now, with the zipper open about 2 inches, sew or serge up both sides, right over the zipper (I use a nylon zipper and the serger cuts it off perfectly). At the top you will have a hole about an inch across. Reach into the slightly open zipper, open it completely, turn the piece right side out and put on the hanger, with the hook through the 1 inch hole at the top. Tuck the raw edges of the top down inside around the wire, and zip up the bottom. Voila! you've got it and also a very safe place to store a piece of jewelry if you wish. Hope this was clear enough to follow. Good luck. Shirle. :-)) Hope this helps.
