And another fabric store and Michael's 10 minutes away. VO> Not to mention the two Fabric Warehouse that are 15 minutes away each VO> (again depending on which way I want to go) Gee, can I visit? (G) Seriously, I've got major sewing to do before I can realistically think of buying more fabric. Plus, have lots of craft projects that await my working on; painting, cross stitch, etc. RH> Other than that, it's up to Tucson (75 miles away) for anything, or VO> I can sympathize with you. That's the way it was when I was VO> growing up. When I grew up, we lived 45 miles from any halfway decent (other than grocery) shopping; I lived in a town of 800 people. Since I've been married, the times we were in Frankfurt and Berlin allowed the most convenient shopping. I'd just hop onto the bus/subway/whatever and head downtown. No, never had trouble with the language difference. I still have some fabric I got over there to sew up. RH> With the wedding stuff, we have to get 99.99% of things in Tucson. RH> I guess I can be glad it's as close as it is. (G) VO> True. But it's still a pain. Yes, but not as much as it could be. Could be we lived out in the boonies, with no W-M. A few years later, yellow dye started bothering me. Now, I've got a list of six or eight things that I really shouldn't eat - can't eat without risking a reaction. And, some of them are favorite foods. Popcorn, for example, is one that I have to eat in *very* small quantities, and hope that it doesn't cause problems. > It was in a magazine I had and I thought I tore it out to > send you but I can't find it. I went back there with my MIL a couple of years ago and I love it there! While there, my husband's aunt introduced me to NA crafts. I've done several dreamcatchers and have just started with some beadwork and leatherwork. I haven't seen a quill box. Are they difficult to make? I make most of these crafts as gifts for family members. I'd love to trade ideas/patterns if you are interested. It was a good day to receive it since it had been a really rough day. I love the package. I've already read through "God's Little Promise Book" and taken several to heart already. Lord knows I needed that! I also really like the two rubber stamps, chocolate, mini x-stitch kits and the teddy bear buttons. It was a wonderful assortment! I also plan on making the recipe (minus the black olives) one of these days. Thank you so much! Wendy @>-->--- ... It's been an excellent book which doesn't spend all the time talking about anti-depressents. Because Prozac increases the seretonin levels in the brain that is why the book is titled as such. Anyway, the doctor who wrote it said repetitive motions such as chewing gum, rocking, knitting, sewing, etc reduce stress because they increase the seretonin levels in your blood. Isn't that interesting. I'd recommend the book to anyone who would choose to read it. It's a great book with lots of good information, although I will probably have to listen to it another time through to catch everything. Wendy @>-->--- ...
