You can rent a video game (Only Nintendo 64 and PlayStation games) for five days, and you pay only $4.99. Anyway, back to my point. I rented Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit after trying to find it on the shelf for three weeks. I finally rented it. It's a great game. With the options of Simulation and Advanced Simulation (bonus option) you can expect very realistic physics. The Advanced Simulation is a must. You can decide what tires you want, physics are much better, and more. There are 9 tracks total. From farms to the top of a mountain, you'll be having fun with this game. I haven't got bored of this game, yet. With the options of Two-Player split screen, this is another good multi-playing game. There's no noticable slow down in the game. Hot Pursuit is the best feature. You choose the car you want and your opponent's car. Then you race to the finish line. Go over the speed limit and you'll get cops on you tail, or if you really stink, in front of you. The police will do almost anything to stop you. They'll team up against you. They'll go even so far to risk their lives. They'll just pop out of a corner and you'll run into them. With their various road blocks, you'll find it verry difficult to keep going. If you DO outrun them, they'll call the super cops which are much smarter, faster, and more agressive. If you still persist, they'll place those things that flatten you tires on the road. Beware, if they start doing this, you WILL NOT get fined. You'll get arrested. Anyone with a PlayStation should at least play this game once. I have not found a single flaw in this game. The action is always fast and furious. Each opponent has their own personality and way around the road. Like one guy, if you pass him all he'll do is honk the horn continuously while he tries to catch up. Ice, on the other hand, will make you don't pass him. He will ram your car as you try to pass. Oh, Yeah. Did I mention the awesome showcase? Each car has it's own showcase with engine stats, speed stats, pictures, history, everything there is to know. It also supports analog which makes the controls oh so confy. The controls are still very good without analog, though. This game is very good. If you're a car fan, this game is for you. If you're a simulation fan, this game is for you. If you racing fan, this game IS for you. ...
