I SI> really don't see what the hype is about. IMHO It looks like Maio 64 SI> with different story, charcters, and world. The graphics still look SI> colorful and lack detail. SI> I think the reason why it has so much hype is because it's a SI> Zelda game. It's the first N64 game with true lighting and biggest SI> N64 cart. Seriously, I'm not impressed. It might have to play the SI> game before I actually make real comments, but these are my opions so SI> far. Write me. I will be buying Zelda 64, just because it is one of the few N64 games looks interesting. I really like the way Nintendo is sticking with it's classic line of games since that is what they do best. I am also looking forward to F-Zero 64 because that was one of my favorite games when the SNES came out. One of the main reasons I bought my N64 was for Metroid 64, but I haven't heard much about it, I don't even know if they are going to make it. Some people say it will come with a RAM upgrade, others say a modem. The 64DD is going to fragment the user base, and offering a modem or a RAM upgrade separately is just out of the question. I don't think Nintendo is ready for internet gaming. However, using the modem for downloading software upgrades, or direct modem games with friends would not be out of the question. In order to have a successful internet program, you need to include a modem from the start and have your infrastructure already in place. Sega learned this the hard way with the Netlink and I don't think they will make the same mistake with Katana. A 64DD modem is still a possibility but I wouldn't look forward to an internet program until Nintendo's next console. Hahaha Hey there ya all! I'm sorry to anounce all those N64 lovers, and 64DD expecters the following: I just bought the March issue of EGM (Electronic Gaming Monthly). And there s sad news for you. 1- The 64DD is being delyaed again in Japan, and the news is that it might ot even come here to the US. (Or Canada!)!! Why? Just cause the N64 in Japan is in third place! (PSX being in first ans Saturn in second).. And people over here don't love the N64. So, they NEED the 64DD.. But the thing is, over here in america, people seem to love the N64 (don't ask me why).. And well, they say they can support the sales without having to bring the 64DD over here.. So that means for all of you that you might never get a 64DD, and if you do get one, it'll be an import from Japan, and your games will never be translated... Oh, and well, you are going to have less games!! (Sorry! But, since I'm a PSX lover: HAHAHA!)... Anywyas, this is not confirmed yet, there is still a posibility that the 64DD will be out, but the chances are like: 40% Oh, and Zelda 64 is going to be coming out in 1999, and F-Zero X will be eing it's face in like the 3rd quarter of 1999.. ... nfx v2.8 [C0000] http://www.westonia.com/blueview/ --- Maximus/2 3.01 * Origin: Juxtaposition BBS.
