Chrono trigger (snes), Breath of fire 1 and 2 (snes), Final Fantasy 2 and 3 (snes), Lufia 2 (snes), Final Fantasy adventure (gameboy) and link's to the past (snes)... You see, I like rpg the best because it long and exciting to play. All rpg games are tough to play. Breath of fire 2 took me over 2 months. I got the best ending for doing a great job. I'm still playing Breath of fire 1 cause I never played it before and I'm trying to beat the game. I haven't gotten the best ending in Chrono Trigger yet. Link's to the past was my favorite game and I've played it soo many times because Zelda is one of my favorite classic. Soon, if I see FF7 on the pc, I'll buy it and play it! I gotta try it! I've seen soo many commericals of this game and the graphics are cool! MG> JL> Anyone out there with both systems? What do you think? MG> It would be a good investment. This is MY opinion but I believe MG> nintendo will catch up to sony in the long run. Right now sony seems MG> to dominate but it depends on the type of games you like. Right MG> now racing, street fighter types, and Doom style games are the 64's MG> strong points.(LONG LIVE GOLDENEYE!) But there are far more sports MG> and RPG's on the playstation.(LONG LIVE FF7!)So it depends on what MG> you like. If you're not sure about what you like buy the 64 and play MG> its games and just go with your instincs. Yeah I agree. Nintendo has the power to do so. And Nintendo is very popular. But there is one problem that prehaps the release of the 64dd will remedy, nintendo has a lack of second party developers. But N64 has some really great companies behind them still. RARE making Goldeneye was great! My friends and I still do deathmatches and I think RARE should start working on getting the rights on making Tommorrow Never Dies. Although if they do make this game I hope It doesn't happen like Wayne Gretzky hockey how each of the two game is the same damn thing. But I think if they made the new James Bond game it would be awesome. PS. Have you seen the movie? Tommorrow Never Dies? Sorry buddy but FF7 was the easiest game I ever played! Yeah sure I loved it and it had a good story. But man 85 hours. I took me 38 hours and I beat it on the second try. FFIII gave me more of a challenge. This game was too much about background graphics and cutscenes than challenge. Plus the character graphics are ugly when on screen. Way too polygonal. But the cut scene's are what kept me in the game. And the story. I just hope that FF8 is ALOT more challenging. (N64 rocks! With Magic Knights MD> Rayeart, and the lunar games, along with hundreds of others, the saturn MD> is heaven for anime fans. Nah... it IS a good thing (if you're an anime fan), but the best highlight of the Saturn is that almost every Sega arcade game gets ported to it - and Sega's true expertise is in the arcade. MD> and in response to virtula fighter, i like MD> games like that. i'd rather play a fighting game slow enough that you MD> have time to block and counterattack, rather than some dumb hyper MD> fighting game where everything happens so fast, it's just a race to see MD> who pulls off the mega-super-special move first. I find it interesting that some of those fighting games are called such, since you often don't actually fight at all. Killer Instinct was the worst of this bunch; it was basically that old pocket game Simon, with 3D-rendered graphics and vivid sound. In other words, it was a game of memorizing sequences in order to win. The only strategy that was useful was knowing WHICH combos would be best! By the way, have you ever heard of the game Dead or Alive? I haven't played it, but I hear it was much more deserving of attention than it received. The main difference it had (beyond being more of a REAL fighting game) was that, instead of a block button, you would use a hold button. So if someone was trying to kick you, you could grab their leg and deliver a counter-attack of your own.
