He got PSX for xmas. I GOT 270 TO SPEND ON GAMES! What games should I get? I have Crash 2 (AWESOME GAME AND FUNNY!) and Jet Moto 2 (HARD but AWESOME COURSES!). It improves the sound soooooooooooooooo much! FF7 sound better and when you turn on surround sound (Concert or Stadium), the sound just surrounds you! I want to get Ghost in the Shell, Gameday '98 (Only on PSX), Tomb Raider 2, PaRappa the Rapper, Link Cable, and dual analog. I'm gonna get the Dual Analog and Link. NC>> Yep. Kiddiesville. BJJ> I agree in full man BJJ> pSx rules Yeah ! Come next pay check I should be getting my own, to sit alongside my brothers Saturn. I think the first game I'll get is that TOCA Touring Car, it was reviewed on the radio yesterday by one of the real drivers who had just been racing that day and he said it was a very realistic simulation. It looks great from what I have seen on TV and in the stores too. :) Try doing that on a Kiddy64 ! Just read will you ? Adam wrote that so if you want to make personal attacks, do so to him. Anyhow I agree totally on the subject, /with Adam/ ! SS> saying that a great system can be soo childlish. All the games I SS> know can be for anyone. Mario 64 was not childlish and I hear my I had a few goes on Mario, hmm, great, run around finding coins. What fun. Plus real dodgy hyper-anti-aliased graphics /in every game/. And a stupidly high price tag because of the 'we'll use silicon storage' decision. SS> friend's mom played it, his dad and his brother. All my friends who SS> are over 13 years old, still play Nintendo and they like n64. Let 'Over 13', whats that then ? 14 ? The console/games buying majority are 18-35 in the UK the people with the most desposible income because the have real jobs, earning real money. i.e a really good market to cater for if you want to make a big wad of cash, which is what Sony are doing. N64 is bombing, getting heavy discounts to try and get people to buy, but it ain't happening. People see the price of cartridges and then see the CDs for PSX and Saturn at least 10ukps less side by side. Which would /you/ buy ? The games coming out now are fantastic, when I saw TOCA Touring Car the other day running on a PSX I was amazed, the graphics look like they're running on a Silicon Graphics machine, they are /that/ detailed and the framerate is so smooth. Then look on the other side of the shop and theres DKR on the Kiddy64 running, what a joke ! Smudgy graphics, kiddy koloured graphics, naff cartridge sound and about 20 pounds more expensive ! SS> see you say it in front of my friends.. What would they think? Well SS> I think one of my friends would get angry. I don't understand why. Oh I'm /so/ scared. How old are you ? I'm 21 for gawd sake. I ain't scared of no-one. Death maybe, but people ? No way. SS> Okay? Would kids play games like Turok or duke 64? Those are 2 too SS> violent for kids games. I think you will understand. I've never seen those two demoing in the shops, obvisously far to violent and full of blood/carnage to be on view of the general public ? Special 'under-the-counter' editions eh ? I think not. Nintendo sanitized wholesome family entertainment. Not my 'scene' at all. I dont know about it being the best game to date (It could be) but Final Fantasy 7 is pretty great. But I have to say the best RPG's I have ever played are Final Fantasy 7, Chrono Trigger (SNES), Final Fantasy III (SNES), and Zelda; Links Awakening (Gameboy). Yes I even said one from a gameboy. You can be just as much interested in a game from a gameboy then a playstation if it has a good plot and captures your interest.
