You're full of shit. The fastest CD drive for the PC is at 16 speed. thats eight times as fast as the cd palyers inthe saturn or psx. that is a total of 2.4 megabytes a second. ROM chips can do thousands of megabytes a second. And there's the 100 millisecond seek time. There's No 1st Person Action Scenes in Rebel Assault like in SOTE. I heard that "Dark Forces ][" for the PC is supposed to be a lot like Shadows of the empire tho...I hope so. And I've seen a few CD's, mostly for games, that held up to 900 megs. I think that CD's can hold a lot more info than most people put on them. As long as its formatted to hold morte.
