If laws in his country -=> are weak on -=> software piracy then it's his god given right to -=> pirate. yes that sure makes a lot of sense....has NO ONE paid attention to what i have been saying from the beginning??? Yes, piracy IS right, legally, but is it right morally? absolutely NOT! It's not that you are directly hurting the corporation, because most large ones wont even notice, but most smaller ones you may put out of business, and modern day piracy (post 94) is not even really you cracking out a registration code, its you or someone else going to a ftp site, bbs, website or whatever and leeching a file! now can you believe SOME people in here believe that constitutes an actual skill??? sure its cool to be able to have windows 98, maybe download it once just to see what its like, but i sure as hell wouldnt want to keep it for more than an hour. as for games...there all the same boring garbage anyway, dont even bother...if you are going to buy a computer for the sole purpouse of stealing a bunch of crappy games you should be brought out in the street and given the plunger treatment (ny residents will know what this means |) yes - a lot of companies are really out to rip YOU off and dont care about you me or anyone else..but do you have to do the same thing? an eye 4 an eye? make the decision yourself...will you continue to contribute to the world spiraling down into an unrecognizable abyss of corruption and scandal, or try to save what weve still got? i already made my decision - destroy all warez. --- FMail 1.02 * Origin: DaCool BBS (516)496-4956 - Syosset, NY (1:2619/133) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 167 NO PIRACY Ref: ECR00000 Date: 08/22/97 From: MARTIN BISHOP Time: 12:38am \/To: ALBERT ALCOCEBA (Read 0 times) Subj: Re: Lets See Who Does This Warez Garbage00:38:0008/22/97 -=> MB> "No I do NOT support warez" Warez - 0 Else - 1 --- FMail 1.02 * Origin: DaCool BBS (516)496-4956 - Syosset, NY (1:2619/133) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 167 NO PIRACY Ref: ECR00001 Date: 08/22/97 From: MARTIN BISHOP Time: 12:37am \/To: KALMAN DANIEL (Read 0 times) Subj: Pir8s in my area -=> I need to do some web browsing ocassionally.
