I like all of the original albums, but > most especially, _Are You Experienced?_, _Electric Ladyland_ and > _Band of Gypsys_. Hello Martin! I agree with you. The albums you mention here is among Hendrix's best. I've recently bought all the remastered cd's on the _Experience Hendrix_ label. There's another album called _South Saturn Delta_ which also is worth listening to. I also read in the newspaper the other day that a new album (double I think), is comming soon. The cd contains 13 tracks never been realised before and another 7 tracks of familiar Hendrix stuff, but in differnt versions since it's all live recordings. What I don't know is if the album is on the same record label and have the same sound quality as the _Experience Hendrix_ cd's...? I have about 5-600 lp's, and it's not so often that I bother to listen to them anymore. (Sorry to say, but the cd is making thing much easier, escpecially if you're lazy) ;). Well, I came across several albums with a band called COLLOSEUM. A band I used to play very much back in the old days. I used the evening listening to a double album from 1971 called _COLLOSEUM LIVE_ I was happy to find tha the album was in perfect shape, and *WOW* !..this is great music!!! I had totally forgot about the band, but after listening to the album, I also found an old live recording of with the band. The concert lasts for about 3 hours, and includes most of the tunes for Colloseum LIVE. Those are _Skelington_ - _Tanglewood 63_ - Ropeladder to the moon_ - _Lost Angeles_ and _Encore...Stormy monday blues_ I wonder...does anybody else out there share my opinion about COLLOSEUM? ;) dag.fjellby@riksnett.no --- BBBS/NT v3.42 ToMmIk-5v * Origin: Circle of Protection +47 55961259 ISDN/V.34+ (2:211/37) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 166 MUSIC Ref: F3300059 Date: 02/27/98 From: DENNIS LEONG Time: 08:42pm \/To: BLUE GARVEY (Read 0 times) Subj: My electric guitar. -=> Quoting Blue Garvey to Dennis Leong <=- BG> He left Life Sex and Death for Marilyn Manson because it was his BG> opportunity to finally record with a band. See, Mr.Zum and I both hail BG> from Chicago, not Florida. >:) ah, sorry, I wrongly assumed you two were from Florida :) There's a death metal scene in Chicago? Cool! Would you consider Marilyn Manson to be metal? Who writes all the music? Did Zim Zum write any of the music on the new album? BG> LSD's sound was similar to Deicide, Cannibal Corpse, with a twist of BG> thrash for good measure.
