------------------------------------------------------------------------- 29, October, 1997 Steve Harris announced that he want's Dirty Deeds, The Supporting Band on the European X Factour to support Iron Maiden's Tour around the world for the forthcoming new Maiden Album. It appears that Rod Smallwood (Sanctuary) is in accordance with this, meaning that it is practically a done deal... Tony Newton, Dirty Deeds bassist, incase you didn't know, is best mates with Harris and when My Dying Bride ran out of money in December 95, Harris asked Tony whether Deeds would be prepared to step in. Well they did and went down an absolute storm. Upon returning to the UK, Dirty Deeds took up Harris' offer of using his studio's Barnyard, to cut their debut album, 'Danger of Infection' which I can assure you is a blinder. The band has signed a five album deal, and release is due initially in Japan next month with European release to co-incide with the Maiden Forthcoming Tour! This album is looking like it could be something really hot so check it out... For more information on Dirty Deeds, Check out their Official Web Site... ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 22, October, 1997 Bruce Dickinson and Adrian Smith recently, announced that they would be working sometime next year on a new album together, following the huge success and the great fun the had recording and touring for Accident of birth. This in no way implies that Adrian Smith is leaving Psycho Motels, in fact, when he finishes touring with Bruce, he should begin touring with Psycho Motels... ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 10, October, 1997 There will be a new Eddie Picture Album out soon co-written by Steve Harris It should be available sometime soon... More news on this to come! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18, September, 1997 The new album is well under way and is on course for completion around late November with a projected release date of late February 1998. Once again the producers chairs are occupied by Nigel Green and Steve Harris and it hould be ready for mixing by late October. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 15, September, 1997 There are still loads of rumors flying around that Blaze has Quit the band or that the Maiden are splitting up. This completely UNTRUE. Iron Maiden are as strong and together as ever before. The whole band are really looking forward to finishing the album and getting back out on the road. There have been many reports of a Maiden reunion with Bruce Dickinson. This is also completely UNTRUE and is probably linked to Bruce's new album and tour with Adrian Smith. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Zubi | AmiQWK 2.9 - FREEWARE | ...
