In fact, after getting my daugh -> a copy for Christmas, I've considered the idea of getting my own copy -> eventually. As often happens, when a band changes members or musical direction, the fan base shifts. Bottom line is: I buy what I like to hear as do you. ;-} -> doubt very, very much that anything new that lineup would produce -> today would be anything I'd want to hear. I find the new selections -> on _The Dance_ to be, well, boring. So does my daughter. For the -> most part, I'd only want that CD for the sake of "I'm So Afraid", -> "Landslide", and such. "Tusk", in my opinion, blows. Didn't like it -> the first time, and this new treatment with the marching band is -> just plain silly. And annoying. And I think they look silly -> performing it. I don't think the new selections on _The Dance_ are special, either. That said, it is my understanding they were written quickly and not well rehearsed. I have a feeling the band could write much better given time to become "reacquainted". -> While I do like about 70-80% of the new album, I still think it -> interesting that here was a group that was all but forgotten, whose -> recent original material had gone absolutely nowhere, that suddenly -> finds themselves back in the spotlight by doing a live album of, -> basically, the same material that got them their first major -> commercial success twenty or so years ago. Makes you wonder if they -> *could* do anything *new* that *anyone* would care about. I'd disagree with you that Fleetwood Mac had been all but forgotten. Both _Rumors_ and _Best of_ have flirted with the Billboard Top 200 over the last five years. Sales of _Rumors_ in the year before the reunion tour were over 500,000 thousand copies and it still holds the fifth position in top album sales ever. _Best of_ sold a quarter million in the same time span. Hardly the performance of an "all but forgotten" band. -> As it stands, the newest title in my Fleetwood Mac collection is -> _Heroes Are Hard To Find_. And it's likely to remain that way, -> actually. I only have four, maybe five. Too lazy to move things to get at the vinly to check. I did pick up both _Rumours_ and _Best of_ on disc.
