Your brother seems to be a big Spice Girls fan, so i guess i shouldn't be surprised at your tastes. Theres a song that it opens with, that BLEW me away! A meloncholy number on dreams that have died. I kept my eyes open at the end, to scan the credits to see who did it, was was suprised to see it listed as Bobby Fuller, who sang "I fought the law & the law won" Something called "lighter shad of blue" or such. I sure would like to find what collection has it on! It ended also with Del Shannons "Thats the way love is" an equaly nice tune that I've never heard before. The films worth watching just to hear these two tunes. --- Platinum Xpress/Win/Wildcat5! v2.1c * Origin: The Playhouse TC's Gaming BBS/www.phouse.com/698.3748 (1:282/4059) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 166 MUSIC Ref: EGL00020 Date: 12/16/97 From: DAVE JANSEN Time: 11:44pm \/To: ALL (Read 0 times) Subj: Telling lies in America film This film deals with the payola scandal, set around 1961, chock full of tunes one NEVER hears on ANY oldies stations.Worth seeing just to hear Ron Holdens great "Love you so"Check it out. --- Platinum Xpress/Win/Wildcat5! v2.1c * Origin: The Playhouse TC's Gaming BBS/www.phouse.com/698.3748 (1:282/4059) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 166 MUSIC Ref: EGL00021 Date: 12/16/97 From: BILL KOPPELMANN Time: 08:42pm \/To: PETER ADAMS (Read 0 times) Subj: NEEDING JEWEL BOXES HI Peter BK> I'm needing a source that I can call to get some jewel boxes, BK> especially the 2 in 1 variety.
