I went to these sites and ran the benchmarks "while connected" as opposed to local - if that matters. Of all the published results, the only OS/2 one on display was from a system very similar to mine so I chose that as a comparison. Most of the Win95 and WinNT results were from exotic systems but at the same time outperformed the OS/2 results that were on display. What could cause my system to be so much slower?
