Even with the events of the last 72 hours, there was a slight interruption because of my system automagically trying forwarding email containing tilde characters while I was not here. The transfers were being aborted because of them, such are the vagaries of Linux uucp sessions, fortunately the offending email came in for routing not very long before I was able to get home. When I got back home I took out the tildes, reran the uucp session and sent out the 166 email that were in the outbound queue and grabbed a like number waiting to be picked up and routed. I have since killed the routing for the individual who kept getting these emails, a kid off at OU which will shut down soon for the summer (and stop his email account) in any case.
