Sure would. But it would be one hell-uv-an expensive conversion! What I did find semi-neat was a Chrysler Daytona CS (yes, CHRYSLER, it was the front drive version, around before Dodge took the Daytona name back) a friend had. CS for the Carol Shelby tweaked version of that front drive thing. Turbo charged. And full of electrical gremlins. =) It took Seeing the nameplates and all before I believed that the CS was for Carol Shelby. =-) > ... What can you do at 3 AM? Psssttt - got a modem?? AB>Yeah, a REAL Daytona. AB> Or, at the very least, a later model RWD Mopar with a 318 or 360. Builds up AB>nicely to something outside of stock. Actually, someone once told me about a kit you can get from Dodge that has a couple of cross members and other odds & ends that will allow you to drop in a Mopar small block... I will wait though, untill this engine blows up. ;) AB>> Thanks in advance.. Oh yeah, HI Alexander.. I was the one with prob. AB>> with the Dodge van w/318.. Was it a slug before you did the hea RW>gasket? Are you sure you used the right head gasket replacement?. I'm not sure if it was or not before I did the gasket, I just got the car and the guy who had it last told me that it needed one, so I just put it in, before that I only drove it once to bring it to somewhere I could work on it. Doesn't have great takeoff speed, but WOW get it up to were the 120 CERTIFIED speed ends... it still have more left in the motor. I went side by side with a buddy in his 72 Chrger Rallye with the 150 Speedo(360-4bbbl) I was going well past the 120 speedo.. Maybe as high as 135-140... At those speeds the car was stable..
