You know...now that I'm thinking about it, at about 115mph the windshield would more than likely pop-into the car. My 64 beetle would do that if I got up to about 90-95, but I had bad windshield rubbers, and the metel lip wasn't too strong in those cars at all, hell I bent mine just putting in a new rubber kit. It would start to buckle into the car in the L-Right corner. --- InterEcho 1.16 * Origin: The City of Syinx BBS, Newark - DE (302)-832-5793 | (1:150/270) --------------- FIDO MESSAGE AREA==> TOPIC: 155 OLD CARS Ref: E1500000 Date: 01/04/97 From: BRIAN HOLMES Time: 04:13pm \/To: JEFF GORDON (Read 1 times) Subj: Re: Greetings! > Tell me more. A GM standard for cars with 5 lugs for decades before and hence. Except for the newer FWD cars... In your case, the standard bolt pattern on large =and= small cars with 5 holes/lugs are the same...my 72 Chevy truck, on the other hand, is 5 holes/lugs on a 5" basic circle...Some of the 70's and 80's big GM cars also use this pattern...if I could have found a fourth, I could be running =real= Cadillac "wire spoked" wheels on my truck.. ...
